Thank you, Lynne! That means so much. :)
And of course, we appreciate all you do (and have done!) for my family, and for the appreciation and awareness of small cheesemakers like us.

I've known this family and their devotion to cheese for many years. Mandy and John have worked really, really hard at perfecting the farmstead cheese legacy begun by Tim and Jill and preserving their quality of life. They've learned a lot and taught us as much about doing something you love and doing it well. Thanks for the post, Bryce.

Thanks Bryce, what a sweet post! :)
We loved having you and Kathy out. I have to confess I was nervous when you guys sat through TWO talks!
Here is dad's very simple (and decadent!) fondue recipe:
1 Lb. Black Butte Reserve, grated
1 8 oz pkg. Gina Marie cream cheese (from our friends and neighbors Sierra Nevada Cheese...Best in Show at last year's CA state fair!)
1 Carmelized Onion
Sparkling Rose - 1/2 to 1 c., based on desired consistency
Throw it in a crocker and let it rock! But stir often. :)
As you can see, our fondue is like our cheesemaking...not a lot of fanfare, just good ingredients and not a whole lotta fuss.
Though the fondue takes a little less time to make...

It's good to see The Transporter again. As a rust experiment it has really progressed. I've always considered that my old LPs were stored (at least metaphorically) in the back of your bus. I AM very glad to have my LPs, and happy not to have to make an "adult time and money" decision about them. Maybe during my next move I'll need to face that facet of my record collection.....
